My current novel, No Grave for Ghosts, is a voice-forward fantasy prison escape thriller. Legendary second-story man Willem "Flick" Tambourlane awakens in a high-security prison with no memory of the crime that landed him there. Broken and cut off from his power, Flick must learn to con the system from the inside if he wants to make it home. But Warden Geneyva Smalls has a reputation for wielding broken prisoners. When she decides that Flick would make the perfect informant, he'll have to choose between abandoning the people he can't afford to sacrifice or becoming a tool for the system he despises.
